2.96ct Amethyst Freeform Triangle Cabochon

As you can see in the picture, this is a lovely, clear amethyst. Unfortunately, as you can also see, there is a large chip in the tip of the stone. The chip could be hidden by a properly designed setting, but it clearly compromises the value of this gem.
