Emerald Cabochons

These stones are all natural Colombian emeralds. Their color is rich and beautiful, but because they are opaque, they are actually of the quality normally used to cut cabochons.

These, however, were cut as faceted stones, complete with crown and pavilion. While it is quite possible to mount these gems table up, like any transparent faceted gem, we suggest that they be mounted pavilion up in cabochon mounts. We can easily imagine any one of these stones set in a sterling silver bezel mount with black diamond accents.
