Cab Grade Peridot Rough
Most internet sellers seem to be asking about $1 per carat for peridot of this quality. Frankly, I don't see it. You will not be cutting faceted stones better than I1, or maybe SI2 from this material, but any of these stones will yield a fabulous cabochon or bead.
The color you see in the picture is the color you get. (The dime is shown for scale only.) This peridot is from Pakistan. As I mentioned, it is a bit too included to be considered facet grade, but its color is excellent, a consistent medium toned, very slightly yellowish green.
These stones range from about 2 carats to about 7 carats each. They are moderately to heavily included, making them perfect for tumbling. They will cut beautiful cabochons, too. Pricing is per carat. Order as many carats as you like.
